Hi~ I wanted to drop by and say thanks for your comments on the maille pics I posted.  The Tricolor necklace you asked about took A LONG TIME to make, but only because it was the first Tricolor micro-maille piece I have ever done.  I'd guesstimate about 16 hours easy but that includes taking it apart 32 times and replacing 150 links I accidentally scratched the color off of...  I am pleased with the final results and have a new appreciation for the colored maille links.

Hiya Donna. Love the pink swap beads and what you've done with them. I reckon you are among the rare people who actually get something done with swap beads AND take pictures to share. Beautiful.         ........Helen

Thanks.

How many takers do we have on the bead swap?

You're right Donna. Things is kinda slow in this corner of the world too. So far only 4 or 6 but just think!! We'll have the enjoyment and bragging rights to the 1st bead swap. Maybe it's just as well we start small~Time for me to work out my booboos. You know those famous booboos that keep cropping up here and there in my life. I've never organized a bead swap before but I have participated in some. The 'loot' I got was really wonderful.      ...Helen

Hiya Donna. Hope your birthday this month will be a great one. This sentiment is a bit early but so what!  The whole month of July should be celebrated as your Birthday Month instead of having 1 day. Hope it's a happy one.       ........Helen

Just an official application for the bead swap.

By the way, I was reading the latest postings, and I read beadbug's recent post. I am quite confused about it. Did I offend her in some way. I have absolutely no idea what she is talking about. Do you? I don't even know her..... Curious. I don't even recall having a conversaion with her. And she's never approached me with anything. Strange world we live in.

Well Donna, I asked her what the trouble was and she has chosen to keep it to herself. And I respect that. Sorry I can't be of assistance.

You're on my list for the bead swap. Thanks for your help in this Donna. ...Helen

Thank you for your nice comments on my images. If you are interested, the ring was made using this tutorial, But it's quite easy even without a tutorial.
